Hilton Head Island is located off the southeastern coast of South Carolina. There are numerous ways to get here...you can drive, fly private or commercial, by bus, rail, and even on boat via the Inter-Coastal Waterway.
If you drive:
If you are driving from the South, you will be heading North on I-95. If you are driving from the North, you will be heading South on I-95. Get off I-95 at Exit 8 and take Route 278 East straight to the Island. It is about 30 minutes from the I-95 turnoff to the bridge onto Hilton Head Island. Along the way, you will pass by the newest town in South Carolina, Tradition, as well as Sun City, and Bluffton.
If you fly:
If you plan to fly to Hilton Head Island, you can whether you fly directly onto the Island or fly to the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport. The Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport is proudly serviced by Air Tran, American & American Eagle, Continental Express, Delta & Delta Express, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways.
The Hilton Head Island Airport is serviced by two airlines, US Airways Express and Delta Connection. Currently there are up to 8 US Airways and 3 Delta departures daily. Please visit the airline links listed here for times and availability.

By train or bus:
There is Amtrak and commercial Bus service servicing Savannah.
By water:
Hilton Head Island can be reached by Ocean or on the Inter-Coastal Waterway. There are numerous Marina’s available for your boating convenience.
