Shirley Bentrup is the only realtor on Hilton Head that I will deal with. In the past ten years, she has helped me with the purchase of three properties, the sale of one, and the rental of one. As a long distance owner(I live in New York), I have appreciated the feeling of having a "partner" on HHI. Whenever I have contacted her with questions or requests for help, she has been there for me. So, what makes Shirley so special? First and foremost, she LISTENS to what her clients say. Whatever parameters I have given Shirley for the purchase of properties, she has adhered to completely. Her knowledge of the Hilton Head market is extensive, and her advice is always given thoughtfully and with real concern for the client. Shirley is tireless in providing a wide view of what's available on the island, and willing to spend time and energy in making sure that her clients are comfortable with their decisions. She is always respectful of client's wishes, and enthusiastic about helping them to find what they are looking for. I must admit that I have truly enjoyed spending time exploring the island's properties with her, and that is partly because she has seemed to enjoy it as well. Always upbeat and pleasant, she has never tried to "sell" me, but only to match my wishes with the properties that are available. I could go on and on singing her praises, but suffice it to say that for all of these reasons and more, Shirley Bentrup is the only Hilton Head realtor that I will ever use.
